Dear Ara Residents,
Migration from WhatsApp to TELEGRAM
1. Jimmy, our Security Provider from Platinum 2 started a WhatsApp Chatgroup (which limits the number to only 256 names) in November 2020. A second WhatsApp Chatgroup was subsequently created because the interest exceeded the 256 number.
2. In view of the need to duplicate notices to inform both the Chatgroups, an alternative SINGLE platform was proposed and some of our ARA RESIDENTS have prescribed TELEGRAM yesterday as it can accommodate many more participants.
3. Jimmy have subscribed for TELEGRAM and you can be linked to the ARA RESIDENTS TELEGRAM. You would however need to download the TELEGRAM application into your handphone before Jimmy as the host can invite you in. As such your co-operation in downloading the application as soon as possible (even today) so that communication can be more effectively.
4. The same rules in the current WhatsApp will be applied to TELEGRAM to rationalise communication, to ensure sustainability and minimise inappropriate contributions.
