Collection is focused on dry mixed recyclables (DMR).
Residents separate the DMR from residual waste and place them in a bag provided by MBPJ.
Door-to-door collection will be carried out weekly.
Collected DMR will be sorted by KPT Recycle and re-processed into other materials like recycled paper!
Dear Ara Residents,
Am glad so many ARAans are interested in the recycling program. As advised by BSDRA the arrangements are as follow:
The MBPJ/Nestle truck comes every Wednesday;
All participants, kindly place your recyclical barang outside your house every Wednesday;
The truck on passing by will pick them up and will record your address;
The truck will keep picking up and record your participation if you keep leaving them outside your house every Wednesday
I was advised by BSDRA that MBPJ/Nestle will provide yellow boxes for participants for the NEXT BATCH. It will be after the MCO.
We hope ARA sector will have a growing number of participants. Please share with your neighbours and make our ARA sector Green and Friendly.

Why Some Not Able to Get The Yellow Boxes?
MBPJ will allocate boxes only to those who actually participate in bringing out recycled material outside their houses...even though I have registered your house address in my list that was forwarded to MBPJ awhile ago. Question? Have you been placing recycled material over the last few Wednesdays? If u haven't then your address would not be allocated. You can start placing material outside your house even though u may not have a box. The MBPJ green truck will note down your address once u start placing recycled material regularly as per the list I shared on 23 Feb 2021.

Dear Ara Residents,
As you note there are a number of unclaimed yellow boxes. Kindly claim your yellow boxes at the Main Guardhouse as per the MBPJ List as above. If it is NOT claimed within 7 days, I will seek MBPJ's dorection as to how to deal with the unclaimed boxes.
