Hi Fellow Ara Residents,
Kindly be considerate in parking your cars along the roads to ensure good neighbourliness. Many of our houses have multiple cars and carparking spaces are very2 limited plus it gets tight with parking on either side of the roads.
This is a Non-security issue but it is indeed annoying to have an obstruction of such often leading to accidents. If however it is an Emergency it would do good if the car-owner place a note with a handphone number at the main wind-screen to facilitate communication.
Your kind cooperation in much appreciated.

SHAH ALAM: Police have urged for cooler heads to prevail after a video of a clash between two groups of neighbours went viral.
Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Baharudin Mat Taib said they received two reports over the incident which occurred at around 3pm on Friday (June 11).
"The incident that occurred at a neighbourhood at Section 24, Shah Alam, was sparked over a disagreement over gardening and parking.
"We recorded statements from all those involved and are investigating the case for rioting, committing mischief and committing an act that could negligently spread an infectious disease as well as movement control order violations," he said in a statement on Saturday (June 12).
He said investigations revealed both parties have agreed to make peace and have retracted their police reports.
"With that said we will still conduct our investigations in a fair and transparent manner.
"The community is also advised not to take actions into their own hands in any situation which could lead to breaking the law," he said.
He also warned against taking advantage of the issue in order to maintain public unity.
"The investigation papers will be referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutors office as soon as possible," he said.
A four-minute video of the incident had gone viral on Saturday.
In the video, two women standing by the roadside were seen being engaged in a shouting match with a man inside the house.
The man gets visibly angered and comes out to confront the women and a struggle ensues.
Shortly after, more people appear and the situation becomes more volatile and the woman was shoved in a drain. The man was also later seen falling in the drain.

As suggested by some Ara residents, Ara security guards will exercise a new SOP to place a "Parking Obstructing Traffic Notice" as shown to seek cooperation from the vehicle owner to re-park.
The answer is yes, especially if they are causing an inconvenience or obstructing you! The law that supports this is known as the Road Transport Act 1987 (RTA 1987). If they insist on parking there then tell them that the law is on your side and show them Section 48 (1). Or this article!
According to Section 48 (1), clearly states that any motorist who parks their car in a condition that “likely to cause danger, obstruction or undue inconvenience to other users of the road or to traffic”, they can be fined up to a maximum of RM5,000 and/or at least one year in jail.
If you are frustrated by cars always blocking your way into your house or just causing a hazard on your road, then just call your nice, friendly local council to solve the problem. This is where DBKL, MBPJ, MPSJ comes in!
Under Section 48 (2), the local authority can clamp or tow the offending vehicle away. “A police officer, road transport officer or any appropriate authority may clamp the wheel of the motor vehicle or remove or cause to be removed the motor vehicle to any other road or some other location or place as may be stated in a notice and remain there at the risk of the owner.”
Of course, we recommend that you try and talk things out with the driver before resorting to such means. Sometimes they might not realise that they are causing such an inconvenience!
